PRAYERS FOR THE NATIONAL SYNODAL ASSEMBLY OCTOBER 17, 2026

Lord Jesus,
You have called us together through Baptism and faith.
Make us a Church that proclaims your Gospel,
welcomes all who seek you,
heals the wounded,
walks with people on their journey,
and empowers all the baptised to share in your mission.
Guide the National Synodal Assembly and all who participate in it. May they listen to one another,
discern your will,
and courageously follow where your Spirit leads.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lord, send us forth not only as believers but as missionary disciples. May we proclaim your Gospel with courage,
build communities of belonging,
bring healing to the wounded,

accompany those who seek you, and share responsibility for your mission.
Guide our Church in Ireland as we journey together in the Spirit.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
