Advent Appeal for our friends in Haiti

Today we launch our special Advent Appeal
for Le Centre d’Appui de l’Enfant pour un
Haïti Meilleur (Child Support Centre for a
Better Haiti). The impact of Hurricane
Melissa has been severe in the South
Western part of Haiti and this school, run
by Lira Perrier and his team of volunteer
teachers, has suffered damage to its makeshift buildings and to the community’s crops under cultivation.

We aim to raise a fund now to help them get back on their feet and achieve their great ambition to provide a sound education for all the children in the area. This initiative is being managed by a small committee comprising members of our Parish Team and our Pastoral Council, some parishioners and two Sainte Union Sisters, Helen Ryder and Teresa Healy.

You can help by donating in two ways
-Online via the Haiti Advent Appeal tab on the Parish Website
-By cash or cheque to the Parish Office using the Haiti Appeal donation envelopes.

Thank You
