If you want your child to celebrate their First Holy Communion in St Brigid’s Parish in the 2026-2027 academic year then please fill in the following form.
Note: this form should normally be used by parents/guardians of children who going into 2nd Class in Primary School for the year 2026-2027.

Parents/Guardians are the first and main teachers of your child in the faith. You should be instructing your child in the ways of the faith from a very early age, in an age appropriate manner, of course. Previously the parish did not formally check in with parents/guardians as to how this was going until the child reached 2nd Class. Starting this year, we want to begin this conversation earlier and so we are seeking the registration of children at the start of 1st Class to allow us to work with the parents/guardians over 2 years (1st Class and 2nd Class). And so, for this year, we have a second registration form for those entering 1st Class in 2026-2027.
