Juvenile Pioneer (8-11)
Réadóir Ógánta
Juvenile Pioneers are children aged eight to eleven years who, with the consent of their parents, take a pledge of total abstinence from alcoholic drink until an agreed age. Emblem: Circular gold-coloured emblem with red cross and heart in the centre.
Young Pioneer (12 Years – Upward)

Young Pioneers are 12 years and over. They add a promise to keep off drugs for life. Emblem: Red and violet background with gold-coloured heart in the centre.
Temporary Pioneer (Adult)

Temporary members are adults of moderate drinking habits who wish to become Permanent Pioneers. Admission to permanent membership depends upon completing one year of total abstinence. Emblem: Silver-coloured background with red cross and heart in the centre.
Limited-Period Pledge
Gealltanas Gearrthéarma
This pledge of total abstinence is taken by a person for the period oh his/her choice. It may be renewed as frequently as desired. Emblem: Silver-coloured background with red cross and heart in the centre.
Permanent Life-Pioneer
(adult over 16 years of age)
The full pioneer emblem of total abstinence from alcohol for life may be given to a person of sixteen years and over. At least one year total abstinence is required before a person is admitted for life membership. Emblem: White background with red cross and heart in the centre.
