Survey on the impact of COVID-19 on Church & Churchgoers

The Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education (MDCCE) is happy to make available to you a research survey on the impact of Covid-19 on Church and churchgoers.

This large-scale survey was initiated by Andrew Village (York St. John University) and Leslie Francis. Their survey was aimed mainly at Anglicans in England, Scotland and Wales.

At their invitation, the Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education is making the survey available in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and open to Catholics as well as to those of other Christian denominations. I attach a link to the news item from the Mater Dei Centre’s website which will bring you to the survey.

We would be very happy if you would disseminate this link to the survey far and wide. This version of the survey is open to all churchgoers over 18 years in Ireland, bishops, priests, religious and lay people. We are hoping for a very high response rate. The survey takes 20-30 minutes to complete and should be a worthwhile experience in itself.
